Gilbert
All About Gilbert: Gilbert (seen with his brother Gus, and some photos at an earlier age) is a male Jack Russell Terrier of 4.5yrs.
Gilbert (long haired) is very affectionate and loves a fuss and cuddles and he is absolutely adorable, he likes nothing better than playing with his ball or chewing a stick and will play on his own for hours. Gilbert is very easy to handle - liking a brush and the occasional haircut, but gives a short refusal when his collar needs putting on.
Gilbert can be hit and miss with other dogs on his walks and, as he is no longer getting along with his brother Gus, so he sadly needs to find a new home. Gilbert is currently going to socialisation classes but may need to be the sole dog in his new home.
Gilbert, at mealtimes, thinks he is in a race, so he scoffs his food down. Gilbert is very cuddly taking any opportunity to get one, but also loves his bed and will take himself off when he wants a bit of ‘me’ time.
Gilbert has always been a bit jumpy with loud noises, and will playfully attack the hoover, although since moving to the country he has found other distractions and is less so. Gilbert loves the freedom of his garden, charging around the lawn and investigating every nook and cranny.
Gilbert will need a Terrier secure garden as he will find a means of escape.
