Murphy
All About Murphy: Murphy is a Male Collie Cross (possibly Mastin or Anatolian Mountain Dog) of 20 months.
Murphy is a really sweet boy and can be weary of strangers visiting his home but was calm and accepting on a volunteer's recent visit.
Murphy completed all three courses of his puppy training and knows all his basic commands very well and has some recall, however will need further training in this respect. Murphy walks well on a lead and although becomes very bouncy and giddy when he sees another dog but calms down after a few minutes.
Murphy currently lives with a cat who he is okay with but will sometimes chase as he wants the cat to play.
Murphy could possibly benefit from having a confident, calm canine companion to help with his confidence and anxiety.
Murphy is an intelligent, energetic boy who will need a quite but active family who will continue his training and ensure he is well exercised and socialised, ideally someone with Collie experience or at least plenty of rescue experience would certainly be beneficial.
Murphy can be left for up to 4 hours and does. not have any anxiety with this.
Murphy is looking for a new home without young children.
Murphy is in the RHONDDA CYNON TAFF, South Wales area.
