Nico
All About Nico: Nico is a male Pointer cross of 2yrs.
Nico currently lives with young children but finds their company stressful and so is looking for a new home where any children are of mature teenage years.
Nico is the most loving dog and adores his home comforts and he has bonded well with the other two male Lurchers in his home. Nico has grown in confidence in his home and enjoys being loved and has learnt to understand he can trust his humans.
Nico's positives:
he loves to be curled up with his humans;
he competes in canicross events which he loves;
he loves sniffy walks and using his nose to track really tires him out;
he travels well in the car for short or long distances; and
can he be left at home alone for up to 4 hours at present.
Nico's Negatives:
Can get very excitable to meet people so can be jumpy but learning "paws on the floor" means more attention;
Nervous when close to moving traffic;
Will resource guard high value treats;
He is not good with cats;
Become nervous reactive around my son age 7 so needs a child free home; and
Nervous reactive on lead when dogs come close into his space but he is improving with training.
Nico would benefit from a home that is active and able to continue with his further training.
Nico is in the WOULHAM, Kent area.
